In addition to his medical legal and occupational medicine work, Dr. Nelhs Betancourt added medical aesthetics to his practice of medicine in 2023. His interest in aesthetics began in 2022 when he had knee replacement surgery. His doctor told him his knee would not last if he did not lose weight. As a result, he lost 45 pounds and then became interested in what other self-improvements he could make. During his improvement journey, he did a great deal of research, attended numerous training courses, tried many skin care products, and became fascinated with lasers.
